Cezcon Attendance is a workplace attendance app. Accounts are issued by your employer; the app is not open for public sign-up. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

Work email address and OTP - to sign you in.
Name and employee ID from your employer's records - to identify you.
A photo of your face, taken when you mark attendance - to confirm it is you.
Project, job, and check-in / check-out time - to create the attendance record.
Login tokens and theme setting - stored on your device only.
Server log and error data, such as IP address and request time - for security and fixing faults.

The app does not collect location, contacts, SMS, call logs, gallery photos, files, audio, health or payment data. It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It requests only two permissions: Internet and Camera.

Camera and face photos

The camera is used only on the attendance screen, at the moment you mark attendance. No video or audio is recorded and the camera is never used in the background. The photo is sent over HTTPS to our server, compared with your reference photo, and stored with that attendance record as proof of check-in. Face photos are used for attendance verification only, are never sold, and are not shared with third parties for their own purposes. Without camera permission you can still sign in and view your dashboard, but cannot mark attendance.

How we use it

To sign you in and keep your session secure.
To verify your identity and record attendance against the correct project and job.
To provide attendance reports to your employer for payroll and workforce management.
To prevent duplicate or fraudulent attendance.
To fix faults and meet legal record-keeping obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with your employer, with the hosting providers that run our servers under contract, and where required by law.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Sign-in uses email plus a one-time password, with short-lived tokens and automatic session expiry. Tokens are kept in the app's private storage and are excluded from device backups. Server access is limited to authorised staff. Attendance records and face photos are kept for as long as your employer needs them for payroll and statutory record-keeping, then deleted. Data on your device is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

Your rights and data deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data. To delete your account and its attendance data, email info@cezcon.com from your registered work email with the subject "App data deletion request", or ask your employer's HR team to raise it. We will verify the request and delete the account and its face photos, apart from records we must keep by law.

Children

The app is a workplace tool for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above and notify users of important changes.
